Scene 1 should be labeled Opening, it will contain the title of the cartoon and your full name. It must be 3 seconds long.

Body of the movie
5. On the first layer, draw the 3 ball shapes you will need for the animation. As you do, make sure to select each one and lock it with "command/control G". *We do not extend the ball layer because it must be animated frame by frame,it contains the action.

A. Perfect circle, Make sure to hold the shift key when you draw your circle this will maintain a perfect shape. The ball should be about the size of a quarter

B. Slight squash, make a copy of first ball by left clicking on the ball and holding the Alt key drag a copy next to the original, use the free transform tool to give the ball a slight squash.

C. Squash, make a copy of first ball by left clicking on the ball and holding the Alt key drag a copy next to the original, use the free transform tool to give the ball a squashed look that is more than the light squash.

6. On the second layer, using the paint brush draw a "Guide Line" that shows each arc of the ball as the bounce slows down and eventually bounces off the screen, generally 2 ground strikes. when complete, lock the layer. Drag this layer to the bottom of the layer stack. Extend out for 10 seconds

7. On a third layer, draw a rectangle or frame around the inside of the stage window, black, 5pt. thickness. Lock the layer. This layer should be on top. Lock when complete. Extend out for 10 seconds

8. On a fourth layer, Draw a white rectangle that covers the entire stage. Extend out for 10 seconds, drag this to the bottom of the layers, this will be our background color.

9. Go to the Ball layer, select the Perfect circle and drag it to the top left hand side just above the stage.

10.Before bringing the ball onto the stage you need to go to the 2 second mark on the ball layer and insert a blank key frame.

11 At the 2 second mark the ball bounce begins, follow the provided diagram as you copy and paste each ball along the guide line you created.

12 The ball must continue bouncing until goes to the other side of the stage.

13. Once the ball has left the stage pause for two seconds before

cutting to the end card.
