1. If you have not yet created a "Studio Card" please go to the tab and follow the directions.
2. Remember that tomorrow, is show your favorite cartoon day. Be ready to share a cartoon that you really like or think is important. You do not need to talk about it, we will just show it on the big screen and the group will talk about it after its over.

Tomorrow you will have a new water color sketchbook assignment.

Go to the Jump tab at the top of the blog and follow the directions and begin working on a jump cycle, we will look at the drawings on Monday.

166 Students:
Use your watercolor pencils on one of the background drawings you have created for your animation.
We will look at them on Monday.

Go to the walk cycle tab and follow the directions regarding, stopping and pausing your character. Please work on pencil versions of your character in the poses as shown on the blog and in class.

166 Students:
Tomorrow is watercolor day.... bring your watercolor pencils and watercolor sketchbooks.

7/10 Homework

165 Students
1. For homework, go to the "Walk Cycle" tab and follow the instructions. Draw in pencil only, your character, in the 4 walk cycle poses "Contact, Down, Pass, Up". We will test the pencil versions of your characters in class tomorrow. 
2. Just for fun I have added a tab called "Animation Podcasts" it lists 3 of my favorite cartoon and animation related podcasts. Try them out, they are free and you can get the apps for the podcasts.
Your brain will thank you...

1. Go to the UPA tab at the top of the blog, read the information and check out the link. 
2. Homework, in your sketchbook, draw yourself, full body as a UPA style character.
3. Please ink your drawing before Monday.
4. On Monday:
-We will look at your drawings.
-You will have some time to finish your Sack Drop animations if you need it.
-I will introduce the next project.

At this point you should be working on your thumb nail storyboards that are based on your movie trailers.
