Change in plans for field trip

Hi everyone,
well a bit of news has crossed my path...
1. Next Monday is a holiday and the college is closed.(Veterans Day)This means no class... so you have an extra week to complete your leaf projects.
2. Because we will not have class on Monday the 9th, no field trip on Friday the
13th. I will organize another get together when I see you again on Nov. 16th.
3. On Saturday Nov. 14th a special event is happening at Pixar. The doors are being opened and the public is invited. Pixar Event


Everyone have a great week and please email me if you have questions.

Congratulations!!!

This last Tuesday night Greg Reasoner was the first person to have his animation reviewed on ACME. Greg received some great feedback which included a break down of the animation that included suggestions for poses, story development and editing tips. I Hope to see more of you for our next live broadcast on October 20Th.

Reminder

A couple of things to remember....
1.Tomorrow (10/06/09) the class lab time will be at the same time but different room. We will be in L-151 that's the ground floor under the library. You can enter the room from the exterior door that faces the parking lot side of the building. I will be in the room from 6-8.(Bring your sketchbook to lab time and you can work on the homework drawing during the broadcast).
2.The face animation project is due at the end of class next week. We will be working on it for the entire evening.

8/17 First Class

Hi everyone,
A couple of reminders:

1. You will need the following items for next Monday
a. Red Col-Erase pencil
b. Lt.Blue Col-Erase pencil or a non-photo blue pencil
c. 9" x 12" spiral bound sketchbook (NO LINES) Derwent is a fine brand.
e. White nylon clicking eraser
f. Regular 2-B pencil

2. Here is the Textbook: (you will not need this until Mon. Aug. 31st)
