Squash and Stretch

The Squash and Stretch has been in cartoons since the beginning of animation. They are abstract in nature and generally last only a fraction of a second. 



The Squash and Stretch is a way to link two poses together. The work shown below demonstrates this. The middle image is a hybrid of the profile and the front view.
