Weekend Homework
165 Students:
Its time to begin the last part of you character animation. Using the same character that you have been working with for the walk cycle, choose one of the two jump cycles from the page shown below.
* The upper row represents the key poses for the Disney jump.
OR, you may pick one of the Neil Sanders style crazy walks, shown on the page below.
Goal, draw your character in the same key frame poses that are show in the examples. Remember,
to stay on model, copy the pose exactly. Pencil only!
See you Monday, when we review for the quiz!

I will review your scanned backgrounds with you.

Go to the Watercolor Tab at the top of the screen and follow the instructions, on Monday bring your watercolor pencils, bulb brush, and watercolor paper. I will demonstrate some inking techniques.

In your sketch book or on a blank piece of loose paper, draw a background for your sack jump, Only use your red pencil, ink your drawing when complete. Scan and color on Thursday. The sample images below are from a wide range of different cartoons. Have a look at them, they may give you some ideas.

In your sketchbook, full page, using only your red pencil, draw yourself as a colonial character. Draw the basic body shape first, then add features, clothing.
