Homework


165 Students:
Design a character
1. Ask yourself the following questions when designing your character.
a. Good or Bad
b. Happy or Sad
c. Age
d. Occupation
e. Time period
f.  Animal traits
2. In your sketchbook draw a minimum of 6 versions of your character. Change the body type. Pencil only.
(Tip: you must show the face, hands and feet.)

3. Once you have chosen a body type that you like. Play with the drawing style of that character. Draw a minimum of 6 versions of your character.


4. In the end, choose the body and drawing style you like the most, draw and ink it full page in your sketchbook.


 * The image below is a step by step break down of myself and my character. (You do not need to do this).

Tonights guest on Acme


Tonight we have Jeremiah again tonight, along with a guest artist - Ron Yavnieli. Ron is the creator and producer of a webisode series for Dreamworks T.V. called "Gorillaville" and will discuss how he got into animation and how his idea for Gorillaville came to be....

166 Due Dates

166 Students:
At the end of class on Thursday, October 20, Parts of your Story Bible are due.

1. Inked but not colored character pages. That are properly formatted onto one page with color correction.

2. Character spins, pencil only, no need to ink.

3. Inked but not colored backgrounds

4. Scan of the complete, penciled, thumb nail board pages.

5. Inked or penciled, thumb nail animatic with audio added. (Ask Jesse in class for help with ripping your audio from the trailer).
